I've been running the VW around without hubcaps. I like the 'race-ready' look. But I just thought I'd try the 40 year old hubcaps on the chrome wheels just to see what it looks like. Looks odd to me, but LA say's it looks unfinished without them... Hmmm. We had Linda's family over for dinner, and Jmaes(6), her eldest nephew has become my toughest critic. Having watched with great interest as I set up for this shot - lights, background paper for a reflector, tripod etc - his first reaction on seeing the picture was "so what's interesting about a dust cap"... oh well...
