Mar 20: Spring cleaning

There was another PAD get together today. Gwynn (slimboyfat) came over to pick up the little gadget he'd asked me to get in NYC. We hadn't actually met before, although he only lives 10 miles away, but we're both 'VW people' and both know a lot of the same folks. We both met our partners through the VW scene, and in fact, one of his mates works at Terry's and had installed the engine in the Lurker. Speaking of which, the old '64 bug was all covered in dust where it had sat in the garage over the winter, so I thought it was time for a clean before he arrived. No sooner had I started when Gwynn turned up. Oh well, I finished to job after he and his whirlwind of a 3 year old, Gavin had left. Amazingly not single photograph was taken during our all too brief meeting. Not to worry, we're bound to meet up again soon.

"not single photograph was taken during our all too brief meeting" . . I am appalled with this! tsk! How could you not capture a PaDr!! AND the little ball-o-fire to boot! Such opportunities do not happen every day! . . .well, yes they do . . but still

I can't believe no one took a picture. Based on my experience, I thought that's all PAD'rs did when they saw each other... take pictures of each other taking pictures! LOL!!!
