Yes we joined the tourist crowd and headed out to Liberty Island to see the biggest lady in town. Any idea how hard it is to rotate a polariser inside a lens hood when you’re wearing gloves? Not easy, but worth it when you get a sky like this! It’s 24degF here in New York with a good icy blast making it feel a whole lot colder. Taking the gloves off was NOT an option! Here’s the icing on the cake after yesterday’s flight from hell (link)in the hands of American Airlines. We get out of a cab outside the Candle Cafe (a very nice vegetarian / organic restaurant) and notice we’ve been riding around under an illuminated ad that read: Fly to California, We know why you go American Airlines. Yeah right... if you want to travel across the US, my advice. Take a bus, a car, walk, even crawl the 3000 miles. Just don’t fly AA!
