Jan 14: Theatre of eggs

Heaven only knows what this is all about... When I'm stuck for ideas, I sometimes look at last years PotD for inspiration, and sometimes to 2003... Jan 14 2004 featured an Alabama hat kindly given to me by Jill, Hmmm, well, I could photograph the hat again... or my Lucky hat... Try 2003. PotD 14th Jan 2003 was a single egg balanced on a candlestick holder. See it here. Eggs do seem to be a subject I keep coming back to. Then, I remembered that Gail Davison had done her own version of my 'Dec 7: 3 eggs' shot yesterday. But with more eggs than I had. You see how all this is coming together? So, here's a dozen eggs, three candlestick holders and a kinda gothic theatrical feel.

BTW - those who were waiting to see my hand painted Olympus from yesterday, it's here. Enjoy!

I think eggs are one of the most popular PaD ideas, did you start it?? :)
Guest 14-Jan-2005 22:57
LOL You realize you're starting another "imitation-fest" right? Seriously, though, this is really well done!!

Those little creatures in your back garden must be working oVertime. Does this mean that wine glasses are no longer de rigeur?

I think we should get some sort of commendation from the British poultry farmers because egg sales in the UK must be going through the roof.

Great shot, David.
