Dec 26: The thaw

Yay, it's Boxing Day, and we all know what that means! After the snow yesterday, and some more overnight, the weather warmed up and sadly the snow is now mostly gone. I took this shot this morning, in the front garden before the dogs could destroy the melting snow.

The grass and the icy snow make a wonderful contrast. I envy your snow. I was excited in London that we got a heavy layer of frost last night; I almost made that my PaD!
