No trophy for me, despite spending a good couple of hours washing and waxing the Lurker. I'm sure I must have picked up a few votes, but 'Best Beetle' and 'Best of Show' went to this very pretty '63. Very nicely detailed throughout, although I really don't understand the roof rack thing! The very low front end has necessitated narrowing the front axle assembly, and those fully polished wheels are sure to take a lot of looking after. Look how clean the luggage space is. I didn't even open mine! Later on, back home, I was spotted cleaning the mud of the tyres and from inside the wings...
