Oct 15:Old tec reject

I was never a fan of cassette tape, But it had its uses. In cars, in personal stereos, making 'comp. tapes', which became 'mix tapes' somewhere along the way. Oh and recording your friends' new albums... Hey, we all had to pay a levy, might as well get what we paid for. Even tho cassettes always sounded rubbish...

The best I had was recording to metal tape on my Yamaha cassette deck with DBX. I loved the feel and heft of the premium cassettes, heavy-duty metal shells. Then came CD's and the world changed forever... My oldest friend has recently begun buying LP's again, and all that goes with that. He loves the sound... I find it hard to listen to, all the imperfections. He hates the coldness of digital.
