We spent 4 weeks on Bali towards the end of our trip. It's a stunning island with a beautiful culture that despite the effects of mass tourism has pretty much remained untarnished. Everything on Bali is of spiritual significance and the people were the nicest I've come across. I think its fair to say the locals are still feeling the effects of the 2002 bombings as tourism on the island has dropped.

A highlight for us was definitely Dreamlands. Being hurled up in the air by 8ft waves and then washed up on the beach was fantastic fun!

Dreamlands is on the Bukit Peninisular, if I could pack my bags and go again for long trip I would!

My wifeand i spent 6 weeks in bali, one of which in a warung on dreamlands. It was the highlight of our time traveling. If i could pack up and leave this second, i would.

hey ,great site,pretty girl, in kuta now , looking for a nice relaxing time away from too much beer with easy surf beach break and simple cheap beach hut dwellings .hopefully close to jungle for photo mad nature lover. any ideas. thanks
