This bike is a Coker Wheelman. I took it to South Padre Island a few days ago.
It attracts huge attention. If you don't want to talk to strangers it's not for you!
Everybody wants to inquire and ride. South Padre is a major destination for well-to-do Mexicans from Monterey.

My day went something like this, over and over....

....Me.....Just, riding along minding my own business.
....Them..."Ooooh, hey, cool bike".
....Them...alternatively..."Ooooh...Mire, mire la bici".
....Me....."Thanks".
....Them..."Is it real old".
....Me....."No it's a brand new Coker Wheelman".
....Them..."Wow...can I try".
....Me....."Sure, ya' got a beer??".
....Them..."You bet man, that thing IS neat".
....Or...them..."Sí. Dos cervezas para usted mi amigo".
....Me....."The way to get on is.......".
....
I did this until I was tired of all the free beer.
