This is an astounding image, Vera -- it catches the day as it flees, stopping time for an instant of great beauty. The layers of umbrellas carry us through the image, and the silhouetted figures speak of pleasure that as you say in your title, capitulate the day itself. A masterful concept, beautifully executed.
