This is a shot of Jaime after surfing the southside of the Breakwater at the end of winter, the same day as the picture of "Railgraber"...
He broke his light blue Pacific West surfboard shaped by David Isackson that session...
This was "Finch's" first truck, and his brother Javier is kickin' it inside. I remember he also got a parking ticket that day for parking illegally at the concession stand at the Pavillion...
I was kinda scared that day and told Jaime, another OG-(Original Gangsta) Venice Breakwater Local that I was scared of drowning this day, because I only had 1 1/2 years of experience at this time and had just finished my first winter of surfing at the Breakwater...
He LAUGHED at me, and though fearful, I went out and conquered my demons!
Since then, JP and I have shared many insane days all over Venice, and after 30 years of surfing with Jaime, he still pushes me to go off in the water!!!
