My favorite memories of Kelly were all day bike rides between piers, in the rain. He often stopped by my house in Superior ave to see if I wanted to cruise around with him. Always game for rainey day antics, I couldn't resist.
One night, Kelly, Mike Arujo, Wren Wilkins and I were partying all over the place, eventually winding up @ bay street and LAPD shows up. Wren mentions Mike's (SM PD Corporal) dad's name and of course they let them go. Meanwhile Kelly ditched into some bushes and i backed my way onto the sand and behind a garbage can till it was safe to come out of hiding. Stranded at bay street around 2:00 a.m.,we had to walk all the way back to where our ride was, market street, elton & wren's house.
Funny times.
Kelly was always a sweet guy.
Wonder where he is and how he's doing these days.

My favorite Kelly story- I was getting some rays at the little wall next to the pavilion when I noticed a pervert. He was was wacking off under his towel. Just as I was about to yell profanities at him Kelly picked up a trash can and threw it on the guys head. Kelly had been on the other side of the wall and saw what was going on and did what any good breakwater guy would do to protect a breakwater girl.

Quiet Kelly. I dated him for a short time long ago. Very shy man, but nice.
