Actually venicepix himself has a story about the movie Carrie.

It was just that Littlejohn collected religious statues and memorabilia, stuff that reminded him of his Polish Catholic childhood. This was in the days before collectables were a big thing, but Iguess we were were ahead of the times. Well, the art director of the movie got wind of John's collection and rented all his stuff for what seemed a good piece of change at the time. So whenever we see the movie we're scanning Carrie's mother's house for stuff that used to be in OUR living room. Some of the stuff never came back, and I think we were both getting tired of being surrounded by Virgin Marys, so John sold or gave away most of it.
