Yeah, I was using Kell's earlier comment ("Hell I wore every shirt alot.. I was poor. ")as a lead in to the Frog story.

I think it was just a reference to how poor most of us were...
I got that shirt for free so I think I was a little proud, or stoked to wear it.

Hi Venicepix - There were 6 kids in Frog's family - Frog the youngest -but is this post to a different pic because this pic (#00150) isn't Frog. You're story sounds true though, because there are pics around of those bros with corduroy shorts with different color pockets. I think Leona (their Mom) may have sewn them herself.
I was told that's how Frog got his name . There were at least 4 kids in his family, maybe more, and I believe his mother was doing her best to keep the family afloat. There was not a lot of money for shopping sprees to the mall. Seems that one year in elementary school he wore the same pair of green gym shorts to school nearly every day and the kids started calling him Froggy 'cause they were green.(Hey Frog, if I got this all wrong, let me know and I'll take it off....I'm just repeating a story told to me years ago, but I can't remember if I ever verified it with you...)

Must have been one of my favorite shirts cuz I wore it alot, Hell I wore every shirt alot.. I was poor.
That was my first pair of glasses, they turned dark in the sunlight. I lost them in a few weeks and didn't get another pair till the 90's

snap !!! the elephant slide !!! the scar on my hand is just now healing from that thing (we made a drippy castle with wet sand and we were sliding bottles down to destroy it well I was building a new one when some kid (i forget who, i think derek) slid a bottle that broke against the side and jabbed my hand, people started freakin cuz I was a bleeder !!you could squeeze between the steps of the ladder and hide out in that elephant there was a "train" in the park too, please tell us ya got pics of that park !!talk about childhood. My brother and Henry(shlep) became best friends at this park back when they were 5 years old !! We would be at that park all day !! with no supervision
Kelly was looking like a vietnam pilot of some type, already had shades? I never wore sunglasses , they kill my excellent peripheral(sp) vision that god gave me.I can literally see out the side of my head.
