What's strange is the board and the surfer both look about the same ashttp://www.pbase.com/image/44987895 which we both seem to think is Doug Irvine, but the wetsuit is different.Maybe the negatives have mysteriously morphed over the years, like in one of those standard time machine movies/TV shows where with great effort they go back and repair an error in the continom (now there's a word that I have no idea how to spell, having never seen it in print) and everything is back to normal.....well almost....
