Here, you'll find all my bird photos and birding travel photos. They have all been taken since early 2007 when I first got into bird photography. Some are not bad at all while some can really be described as 'record shots', but I have tried to put only the best ones up here. All photos are of wild birds (including feral ones) - i.e. no domesticated, cage or zoo ones, although there are ones of birds in the hand (ringing) - and until July 2008 were taken with a Nikon D80 digital SLR with an assortment of lenses. From late July 2008, all photos are taken with Canon EOS 20D and 40D DSLRs with a Canon 70-200mm f4 L zoom and a Canon EF 400mm f/5.6L USM telephoto

For best results view the photos in the largest size offered, preferably 'Original' if available. Any smaller and compression artefacts become visible. Also, they are best seen in full screen mode. Press F11 to get full screen, press F11 again to return to normal viewing with toolbars
