If a CNS story has a photo, you will find it on this page.

Click on a gallery to choose photos. (We usually put the photos for the most current stories on our home page. Photos for stories distributed earlier in 2009 will be in the "2009 archive" gallery. And you'll see an archive for 2008 and 2007.)

Within a gallery, browse the thumbnails for a photo you like. Click on "original" under the photo for the full-sized, high-resolution photo. To download it, click on this large photo (which will probably not fit into your screen) and click with your right mouse button. Then you will get an option to "Save Picture As..." to download the file onto your computer.

If you are using a Mac and don't have a right-mouse button, put your cursor on the thumbnail and hold down the mouse button. This will give you the "Save Picture As ..." option.

Note that these are somewhat large files (usually about 2 mb). All files in JPG format.

Cutline information is displayed under the photo.
