Have you even just waited, and waited for your subject to ‘reappear’ from hiding. Well I did today; just outside this fellows home; crouching down, trying not to move as I fed the mosquitoes. About 15 minutes later, and about 3 times sticking his head out, this was the best he was going to give me. (And I troubled him long enough. Cheers Alvin, or is that Simon, or maybe Theodore?)

This is a wonderful capture... look at the dried vegetation on his nose :-) Cute little guy. I've tried for this type of shot, but they never reappear for me! V.

Glenn, I absolutely love this shot! Great patience on your part to shoot this guy in his very natural environment.

What a cute shot! Looks like he took a peek out to see who was making all the noise outside.

Brave man, the skeeters are about the size of him this year!

Worth the wait I say. You got a great shot of him with the shavings on the snout and all.
