We were told we would go to Mykanos on our cruise. We studied the guidebook and set a course to follow upon arrival. What they didn't say is that we would arrive at 6pm and it would be nearly dark and very windy. I wanted to photograph the windmills here. So, with the light rapidly fading and not a clue as to where they were, we jumped in the first taxi we saw and said," Take us to the windmills." The wind was howling, but I set my camera on a concrete block ledge, used my hat to aim it and damp the vibration, used the timer so it wouldn't shake and VOILA'! About 5 out of ten were not blurry. Back in the waiting taxi and off to the waterfront and the restaurant we had chosen.
