on a clear day I was wandering along the beach away from the rest of the group [who were viewing/photographing Muskox]. I saw two muskox cavorting on the ridge above me. Then I looked down and saw this skeleton lying on the beach. At first I thought it was a seal because it was so large. Rinie (our Arctic naturalist) came along with the others. He said it definitely wasn't a seal,it was a narwhal skeleton with its tusk cut off(BTW seals have limblike buds on their skeletons where their fins are)!
