Widow Skimmer (Libellula luctuosa)

St Gaudens New Hamsphire

Male (despite the "widow" Dragonfly at a field at St Gaudens
Estate. This guy was chomping away! Perches obliquely on plant
stems, seen in meadows well away from the water.
