Barn Swallows: Toolshed vs Garage Broods

2006...fledglings 2005:Two nests of swallows, first in July (toolshed nest)and one in August (garage nest). The last brood took about three weeks in the nest before they could fly. The parents are stilling feeding them, both on the wing and when they rest on top of the roof or tree where they sit. When the parent approaches, they hop and cheep loudly and open their mouths WIDE! They are still returning to the nest where the quarters are cramped. Sept 9th they did not return to the garage nest. They are so much fun to watch. Flying Acrobats.
