My first time back 'home' since Christmas ... to see one of my best friends get married, visit with family, and enjoy the fall colors. :) Of course, I was greeted with a downpour that lasted most of the weekend. Alas . . . But my camera was a hit with my little sisters. :) I think that was the first time my battery was ever completely used up! I did manage to roam my old stomping grounds. A word of caution, though ... sometimes it's best not to try to re-live some parts of one's childhood. For example, climbing the trees you used to climb is a bit of a shock. They seemed so hard 10-15 years ago! And, the branches were sturdier (or did I weigh less?). :) Well, at least the view was the same.
