your work is breath taking .bravo the best.
Urs, thanks for stopping by my site and thanks for the comments. I agree about Arizona but, you should consider visiting the southern Utah area including Zion national park. Every direction one turns there is a landscape picture to be taken. I've usually been through this area in late August-September and , with a good polarizing filter, the skies are often a beautiful dense blue with nicely contrasting clouds.I refer too this area as having a desolate beauty. I too am relatively new to using a digital SLR. I found your shots to be well composed because some of the scenes remind me of how I would have framed those very shots. Nice composition. For me, my photography is my Therapy !!!!

Hi Urs...I wanted to say thank you for your comments in my galleries. You have a wonderful collection here and I have thoroughly enjoyed my visit.
Hi Urs thanks for the comment. Nice to know someone else thinks it's beautiful. See you're also Lightroom 2. I did it all in Lightroom. Played with the saturation and with the lens vignetting. You've got some great pics yourself. A Great help to me was the Scot Kelby book on Lightroom 2.
Hello Urs thanks for the comment on my photograph of the sunrise. I am inpressed with your Photography, always super compositions and very good exsposures. I see you mainly work in Manual. I have used a couple of books on lightroom that I could recommend. I will double check the tittles and post another comment this evening. I am working in the reverse direction to you, I started with digital with a canon 30d and have now purchased some used anolog camera's and am interested in achieve top results on film now. Regards Carl

Great work and superb collections. It's a great pleasure to visit, and I've added them ies to my favorites to be able to follow regularly all Your new adds...
Thanks for your kind comment about my Pemiquid lighthouse in Maine on Bpase, through the lens site. Our camera clubs are giving up on 35mm slide competitions. I believe because as people learn how to process a digital image they are able to make better images with all of the advantages of digital. If you process the image for digital projection and have a high quality digital projector you can show excellent images that I think make 35mm slides look anemic. I've never tried viewing images on a TV. Bob McC in Arizona
Urs, many thanks for your recent comment. You have some great shots here, well done. Best wishes David

Thanks for visiting my galleries and for your kind comment.
Meanwhile I viewed some of your work and I'm delighted!
I'll come back for sure to see more.
Thanks for the comments on my Arizona images. After reading your profile I thought I would comment on the transition to digital. I made the same transition back in Feb, year 2000. I went through several phases of "I will fix it in Photoshop" to now concentrating on getting the image as best I can 'in camera'. I do not like to spent a lot of time post processing my images. I have learned to slow down and spent more time on reviewing the scene in front of me to get the best image. The fun thing about this is that you get to go out more and photograph. Keep up the good work. Best regards, Jim.
It is nice to received a good comment from you. I just return from Vancouver Canada, took many picture there. The flower photo you comment on also from Vancouver. I wonder how is Switzerland is like. You are so far away, yet it seems so close. I am glad I met you on Pbase. Thanks for sharing your photos too.....
Thanks for the interest in my images urs. This particular blossom was taken last summer. It will be another month before the apple blossoms begin to appear...
