Super composition

The one with the red bag looks thoroughly miserable, despite the apparent arrival of spring.

3 men, a tree, and only one shadow. And he is also the man with the red bag. And interesting contrast with his body posture, that gives the impression that he does not want to stand out.

Terrific street shot.

Going old school with the Oly?! That's a great splash of red!

Good shot.

Simple yet story-telling. Should never let a red slip away...
Guest 11-Feb-2007 15:13
More like stunning in the city. This rocks man. The potential stories here have me stuttering. I love the simplicity in the elements of the tree, the regular lines, etc. And the suggestion in the mans walk, he's stopped shoulders - the way he seems to be walking away, outcast from the other two standing by the tree. and that stunning red... This is droolingly (yes, droolingly) good.

Great lighting and shadows, with the red bag as a nice finishing touch.

The shadows, the figures, the tree, all placed perfectly. The red bag is the jewel!

Brilliant and yet so sad. But of course, three's a crowd. Bravo!!!

Just take the fricken bag man...
That red really pops (pings? sings?) in this beautifully lit scene. Such a pleasing composition with the repetition of shape and all that shadow play.
Cracking shot.

Excellent!
