I know I've commented on this one before Niall but I just love love this one.
I thought of Eugene Smith's "Walk to Paradise Garden"

This is so oniric. I have the sensation that there is a frog jumping besides her.

Not only we don't see her face, not knowing if she's approaching or leaving us, some of us probably wondered about her hands in the air. A sign of carefree or despair? And I kept looking at the strange thing hanging from her arm. Very intriguing. The framing, the negative space, the light and the blur accentuated the entire mysterious moody scene. Brilliant. Voted.

A moody picture! Very good use of negative space Niall.

From the eyes of Jean-Pierre Jeunet.

This one has me gripped, I have to say. Such mystery to it, which I guess is partly down to the setting and partly down to the silhouette. I also like the way you've used that natural frame around her, especially with the light in the background just off to one side. Love it.

I agree with Roe in that this would make a beautiful book cover... It reminded me of the Secret Garden actually :)

I am a true fan of this gallery and the way images that seem to have so little to do with each other are, as soon as you upload them, we start thinking of the reason why they are here and though it's impossible to understand the nuances of an isolated image without some contextual clues, the story grows in each of us that take our time to "read" it.
Keep it up Niall.

Agree with what faye white said. Either way - and especially with the ambiguity - brilliant.

A beautiful composition. She is nicely protected - I like to imagine that there are roses in the branches above. Original photograph too - the lovely green background and the silhouette idea add so much. I would not be surprised if this becomes a classic.

haunting.... is she facing away from or towards you? entirely different feeling for each

Reminds me of a modern day Thomas Hardy scene somehow. Not that I would know ;-)
