Is this the essence of photography? You managed to do it with few words here, telling the state of this neighborhood.

Brilliant shot!! A roller-coaster ride for the eyes, V

Incredible composition - the eye doesn;t rest as it travels between the main elements

very good.

I saw this one appear on the most popular page. No wonder. You have captured a story that could be used by many telephone assistance companies. The dreadlocked neighborhood, the hight, the gloom, the urge to jump... yeah... these are moments to talk to someone who cares. This shot carries the proverbial thousand words to a deeper dimention. A very powerful shot with a strong message. V

Nice find Niall. First time I see a "Need to talk" label!!!

Outstanding image! Love the contrast between the phrase" Need to talk?" and the desolation all around. V Roberto

Brilliant message. Not only the composition is superb, it's interesting to see how the sign stands out against the empty streets and highway. Intense, like the "calm before the storm", if it makes any sense. Voted.

it's a good job i didn't! not much point when you've got to jump just to get your phone...
love the way you composed this.

Fantastic image. Just so perfect. Shows how universally understood the sentenceis that you need only include the "just to talk" wording for the message and the messenger to be obvious. Brilliant work mate. Gmv

More PS 'Wipeout' influenced goodness. I am always 'shooting up', the downward view is just as dizzying. You da.
