Hey Niall, this one is not as strong as the previous one or the next one with the orange shirt. I guess that this is due to the straight angle of the head. This one would probably have worked better if the model had looked towards the top right hand cornern which is where the light appears to come from. Just a suggestion though.

It looks like a very simple shot, but it's definetely not. As other said the quality of the light make all difference. Great work. V

A beautiful work, again! I love the way the light creates a special mood, almost mystical (a natural mystic!:)

Hard to add too much more - really creative and bold. Lighting is excellent.

Didn't you like my serious comment??
Ana Carloto O'Shea13-Jun-2006 08:48
Mr O'Shea I must tell you honestly that I like this photo even more than the first one.
Again you have mastered that light... it's drop dead beautiful I tell you.
I like the softness of the light as it matches your pose to perfection... there's something so quiet in this one, almost like there was a "Do not disturb" sign hanging on top of the photo. And then you seemed lost in dreams almost in a child like way which contrasts with the fact that one might also see this photo as being somehow sensuous. This kind of dual nature that you've managed to achieve in this SP is in my opinion the fact that makes the image stronger.
Well done.

Shouldne't that be chaise lounge? :B
Contemplative body language - one used by children and adults alike. It speaks of innocence and honesty..
Lying awake thinking, perhaps dreaming, in the still of the night.
