reflections - millennium bridge

I was walking up the rampart to the bridge when I spotted this guy overhead taking a photo of St. Paul's Cathedral on the other side of the river, with the famous chimney of the Tate Modern Museum reflected in the glass pane seperating us.

Like two towers. The man creating and his creation watching him... C'est grand! :)

A pigeon and a monument both claim a perch upon the moment.Yet both are as transient words. And does it matter? But of course, because they have spoken as their previlege of being.

Superb Niall, I like the way the tower's looming very malevolently behind him.

It's like the chimney is watching over his shoulder to see exactly what he's doing.. or to make sure he doesn't cross some architectural line drawn in the sand.. ;)
I like the exposure on all.. there is a feeling of overlay, even though it's not.
I'm glad you looked up..
