I love the sharpness and the exposure which bring out all the little details. The cigarette in the corner of his mouth emphasizes his relaxed attitude. I can allmost hear the music.

The sound must be beautiful indeed, but I dare say that your photo surpasses it!! What a fantastic shot... the light and the shadows are incredible, giving and taking away all that needs to be seen and felt. Wow! It's definitely my favourite also. One of the best photos I've seen in Pbase... You rule!!

I'd say a CD cover in the making... the way the sun is in this portrait puts emphasis on the out and out coolness (word?) that exudes from him... puts the details in focus.. perfect brownish tones and contrast, along with a great composition... I like how he's looking off to the side - outside the frame.. One of your best portraits, and he needs to see this.

Well this is an incomporably beautiful picture. Absolutely stunning. Portraits are tough enough but musicians in action are even tougher. I am blwon away by this - the depth, the contrast, the tone... However he sounded, I know you have done this justice... One of my favourite images on pbase this year. Huge vote
