This was the wall of a house left standing when the house was demolished. As I was photographing it, a kid walked past and stuck his hand up, obligingly. Naturally, I snapped. I saturated, rotated and voila...

like the life form has been burned onto the wall for all time.. like a fossil.. like the semi-permanent outline of a leaf - the dye saturating the concrete for a few hours .. All reminders that we were here ... please don't forget us.. The peeling wall is amazing ..
