march 25: for antonis : 'black widow'

OK, so she's not a Greek Orthodox widow but it's the closest Tottenham Court Road, London will allow. Ciao, Antonis!

My dearest friend and great photographer,
i really love this image.
It is amazing how you isolated this woman with an excellent background. Street photography needs a special sensitivity and of course technical superiority because time is very important and as i can see you have them both. It is very important for me in my learning preschool period to have photographers like you for inspiration. Thank you, thank Pbase...
Voting is not enough!!!

Oh my gosh it's Gramma Bug! Yet another over the top image from that venerable Niall. You just keep pumpin' out the creamshots like no tomorrow.Yeah, I like the jowl story, the magnetic eyeware, the death wardrobe and the pink flloyd brickwork. The exasperation of seniordom is brilliantly discerned in this study.Another vote for Niall amid my fervent hero worshipping.

Oh.. and the DOF is .. tooo yummy!

the darkness that surrounds and envelops her.. some by nature and some by her own choosing set off her fair face and light hair. If you look closely at her face, there is a struggle there.. age is struggling to take over. Where the top part could easily belong to a woman in her 30's .. the bottom part shows time's persistance at moving forward. It's odd how the way you live your life eventually shows in your features. No one ever told me not to laugh.. I curse them when I see laugh lines..

Okay I'm lying because what is life without laughter?
This photo MUST be viewed at original size, by the way. I'm glad you told me about that a while back.:B

I meant to add...the glasses are really the focal point, it looks to be a gray day, yet she was those dark glasses on, which makes me wonder what she is trying to conceal! Great one, Niall!

I love this!
