Oh my lord this is an awesome image. I really love this one more then words can describe. This I could see in a famous gallerie with famous artists. I am truly impressed and eventhough this was taken well over a year ago, I will vote. Really really cool.

Magnificent! The cloud cover is perfect and dramatic, and you could print it and frame it - it would just be small, and small is sometimes good. You could take it down and handle it, your guests would walk right up and peer into it and actually pay more attention to it than if it was a big huge framed thing over your sofa. At least, that's my prediction.

Agreed ... this one is great. I almost can feel the wind, and the dark wheather. Excellent composition also.

Wow .. this should be matted and framed, Niall. Too bad about the low settings, but I totally understand. I stared photography less than 2 years ago - and only seriously less than a year ago. Until last December I had my settings on the lowest resolution and compression. I am not a technical wizard. Thank god I met someone who helped me out.
Excellent composition and sky

Gorgeous. I was really drawn to this -- I have actually been meaning to pick up a copy of Don Quixote and re-read it. It looks so much like a painting, and I love the motion of the blades you captured on the windmills, with the stormy sky hanging over all. Pity that you shot it at low resolution and can't blow it up larger! That's happened to me as well, but only when I've been puttering around in the yard so it's not been such a huge deal. More of an "Oops" moment than an "Arrrgghhhh!!"

Hi Joe, hadn't seen your comment on the windmills. The storm was gathering over that hill. I didn't retouch. I'm only cursing myself that my camera was on the lowest quality setting so I can't blow it up. Doh! Here's a pic I think you'll like:

The Ireland coast to coast and people galleries have been updated also with some good ones.

How are you these days?

Cheers,

Niall

Don Quixote's giants. I had no idea they were still there ! Did you tweak this, or did the weather really get so dark ? Either way, this is a great photograph.
