The most famous landmark of the Canadian Rockies: Lake Louise, Mt. Victoria and the Victoria Glacier. The lake freezes over during winter and you can skate or walk for miles.

My family and I paddled canoes on the lake in the mid 80s. Altho science tells us that all ice sheets are melting, I see no difference in the location of the toe of this glacier,now 20 years later. Still a lovely sight.
