This tree has seen many years and carries a special spirit that I feel when I am near it. I spent several hours looking at all of the twists and turns in the wood grain. It is weathering so that it is actually more beautiful now than when it was full of life.

To me it stands for the power of the spirit of life and the many twists and turns that our lives take as we travel through time on earth. It is significant that as it ages it becomes more beautiful, even though many of the parts of the original are broken.

That is how we should see life for us also.
