Eagle Hunting Strategy (3 images)

Squaw Creek NWR, Missouri

THIS MATURE BALD EAGLE SHOWS A CLEVER HUNTING STRATEGY...
ONE THAT I CALL THE LOW FLYOVER..

IT WORKS LIKE THIS... THE EAGLE SPOTS A GROUP OF DUCKS,
GEESE, ETC.. AND THEN DOES A LOW PASS OVER THEM TO
SEE IF ANY OF THEM SHOW ANY WEAKNESS; I.E. INABILITY TO
FLY, ETC. IN THIS SERIES HE FLIES OVER A GROUP OF CANADIAN
GEESE, WHO PAY HIM NO MIND.. THEY MUST BE TOO BIG??..

START OF THE FLYOVER PROCESS

CANADIAN GEESE ARE NOT CONCERNED AND DO NOT MOVE AT ALL..
HE CONTINUES ON HIS WAY... THIS TIME HE DID NOT SCORE..

other sizes: small medium original auto
