Welcome to the gallery for the Celtic Society of West Tennessee! They are a young society, only 3 years old! They were bold enough to have a Celtic Fest the first year of their existance. When they had their 2nd Fest year it doubled in size!!!!! Let's double again in 2008! Congratulations everyone! Greetings from your friends at Celtic Crossing Irish Pub and Restaurant in Cooper Young, Midtown Memphis. Voted Best Patio 2 years in a row by Memphis Magazine, Celtic Crossing is the perfect place to spend your summer afternoon. We have several events coming up this June that shouldn’t be missed!

Our second annual Guinness Celtic Oyster Festival will be held on Saturday, June 6 2009.
Festival begins at 11 am and continues late into the evening.
Live bands include nationally acclaimed Needfire, high energy Celtic rock in kilts; Swagger, featuring Mark Harriman of the Sallymacs, local favorites Reel McCoys; and, of course, Irish bagpipers!
Special festival menu includes fresh Oysters imported from Ireland prepared a variety of ways. Be sure to have a pint (or more!) of Guinness with your Celtic oysters.

First Thursday June 4th ‘09 Cooper Young Night Out will feature our second Treasure Hunt. Similar to the April Menu Event, the Treasure Hunt will feature a quiz challenge from 5-9 with the prize a collection of gift certificates from local Cooper Young area businesses. Participating businesses so far include Midtown Acupuncture, Dash- the Yarn Shop, Midtown martial arts ATA, Do Sushi, Beauty Shop, Burke’s Book Store, The Sanctuary, Celtic Crossing, Blue Fish, Toad Hall, Café Ole, and Underground Art. Memphis’ First Bloomsday (James Joyce Day) June 16 2009
Experience Dublin from the eyes and words of renowned author and literary favorite James Joyce at Celtic Crossing. Starting 5 pm we will have live readings from selections of Joyce’s famed Ulysses read by Memphis actors and Joyce scholars as the strains of ‘Finnegans Wake’ echo through the air and help recreate the legendary scenery present in the novel. Showings of the movie ‘Bloom’ based on Joyce’s novel will play throughout the afternoon and evening.

That sword and shield in front of Clan Ferguson would make such a great picture just it by itself. Really Really good pictures and iam seeing folks i dint even know where there. Thanks again i seem to be checking two or three times a day like a kid at christmas
