I was in KE hostel during 1962-63 in room no. 31 which was bigger than other room. Ramesh Sharma, Brij Kalra and Charanjit Sing were my room mates.

I was in Room No. 57 of KE Hostel in 1962-63. My room mate was Ajay Kumar Sardar. I was not aware that the hostel has a new name now. Is it Rajendraprasad Agarwal Hostel? The sign in the picture is not very clear. We had a fantasctic time there.

When I was in Central Hindu College between 1957-1960, there were two other hostels of the college. One was Dr Annie Besent hostel adjacent to old Central Hindu School and the other opposite to A B Hostel known as Japeshwar Maath. In 1959, the students from Japeshwar Maath were shifted to the oldest hostel known as Hostel No 1. In the year 1977 when I visited Varanasi, I found that the school had started functioning in the old building of Central Hindu College. Hostel No 1 stood converted in to a girls' hostel. Former King Edwards Hostel remained the same except its name now changed to Dr Rajindra prashad Hostel.
