Panoche Valley & Panoche Road, San Benito County



Panoche Road branches off of Hwy 25 about 25 miles south of Hollister and winds through the hills for about 30 miles before reaching Panoche Valley. The road then continues on in one of three directions - north over the hills to I-5; a dirt road due east over the hills to I-5; south to the ghost town of New Idria. It's a great backroads adventure only two hours away from San Jose.
