Troop 661 - Photo Galleries

Boy Scout Troop 661 is a chartered organization of young men who have completed fifth grade and are at least eleven years old, or who have received the Arrow of Light Award. The Troop is supported by the parents of the Scouts in the Troop and chartered by the Mount of Olives Lutheran Church, Mission Viejo, California. Membership in the Troop shall not be denied because of race, creed, disability, or place of national origin.

Troop 661 is established for the purpose of providing to boys of our community the expressed Aims of Scouting B.S.A. They are as follows:
1. To build and develop leadership, moral strength, and character
2. To learn participating citizenship
3. To encourage and maintain physical, mental and emotional fitness

Troop 661 is a “boy run Troop.” What a “boy run Troop” means is that the boys select and plan most outings under the guidance of the Scoutmaster. We have a strong outdoor program and plan twelve major out door activities or camp outs each year. Our Troop website is located at http://www.troop661.saddleback-bsa.com
