BBC News tonight..

A section of motorway has been reoepened by police after it was closed during a rush hour security alert.

Army bomb disposal experts were called to the M56, which was shut between junction 12 at Runcorn and junction 16 at Ellesmere Port in Cheshire.

Police were alerted to a suspicious van parked at Hapsford Services at junction 14 on Wednesday afternoon.

A series of small controlled explosions were carried out at the scene but it proved to be a false alarm.

What it didn't say was I'd left spot on 5pm to make the pictures with Helen and Christopher. We dd make the last showing.... and guess things could be worse; we did watch War of The Worlds!

So what exciting things could be snapped from the car then....

Interesting shots and an interesting story to go with them.

What a crazy world we live in. Is that the normal color for your police cars or is that a special unit? Be hard to miss them. Nobody could ever give the excuse they didn't notice them flashing their lights to pull them over.

I've always liked that colour yellow/green. Dunno why, it's just very striking.
