- 19th April 2005 - What is it?

This is a game started by Vinh. The rules are here:
http://www.pbase.com/vluu/the_guessing_game

So what is today's mystery object? Like the mysterious blurry effect? :)

The prize for winning this round is you get to do the next one.

I won Ric Yates round http://www.pbase.com/rjyates
(came second actually but read the rules :)),

Please read the rules, but the idea is you don't look at the comments before guessing.
The answer and the winner will be posted 24 hours (bit later as I'm out!)

Just accepted a job as Business Development Manager with DATS Ltd (www.dats.co.uk) in Widnes. Means I can continue with the training band etc! Please send all orders for new business c/o me asap :)

Excellent news about the job Ian. Congratulations.
Guest 20-Apr-2005 17:38
...and yes, congratulations on the new job! Hope it goes well for you and that there are no red staplers in your future.

It's one of those wooden maze things where you try and get a marble to make it through without falling into one of the holes
Stu20-Apr-2005 00:24
It's a dod of wood,
Guest 19-Apr-2005 21:38
Some kind of game....not sure what though.

Oh, I came back to read this. Congratulations on the new job!
Guest 19-Apr-2005 19:03
It's one of those kids games that you have to roll a ball along through a maze dotted with holes by twisting X- and Y-axis knobs on the side that tilt the maze plane?
Ric Yates19-Apr-2005 18:42
I'm going to go with an adventure playground for a pet of some kind!

congrats on your new job. Don't know what it is, but it hurts my eyes!
Guest 19-Apr-2005 18:19
Yep, I think Tor and Jeremy are right, but they didn't say the ball had to follow the line round the maze. I loathe and detest these kind of things, because I can NEVER do them.
Guest 19-Apr-2005 17:41
An old tic tac toe board?
JeremyGood19-Apr-2005 16:33
Tor is right and this game is officially under protest because I would have won this if you hadn't posted it in the middle of the night California time.
Yvonne19-Apr-2005 11:46
The fancy lines get me a bit, but I think its one of those bird houses on a stick...but I'm probably way off the mark.
Gayle P. Clement19-Apr-2005 11:39
I think it's one of those old-fashioned wooden board games with holes.
Tor19-Apr-2005 11:16
I think it is a board game of some sort where you flip the surface with wheels on the side in order for a ball to roll from one side to the other. Of course you have to avoid all the holes. If it isn't - I have no idea! Congratulations, both on winning and the job!
Ric Yates19-Apr-2005 11:12
Hmm - have to think about it!
Guest 19-Apr-2005 09:40
No idea!!!

Haven't a clue - looks like balsa wood taken through glass and I think it is a lot smaller than it appears - something musical maybe - do let us know. It's too early in the morning for this. Chris :-}
