- 12th April 2005 - Yellow

I know another tulip! But the sun was shining and I couldn't resist.
Not only that but I caught this bee taking off.... if I'd got it against a lighter
background it would be the PaD! (cropped a bit here) And the birds have just arrived
- but of course the battery is on charge (they know you know!)

Couple more flower shots too..... well it is spring.

Should be cutting the grass really!

Job front update. Awaiting a formal offer for one job,
with potential interview for another this Friday... watch this space.
That's another reason why I'm shooting daytime flowers....
the opportunity might not last long!

Nikon Coolpix 8800
1/200s f/7.4 at 26.5mm iso50 full exif

Main shot is stunning. Very dramatic colour saturation and the red, yellow & blue patches give an incredible graphic image. Gets my vote.

The inside looks a bit sinister, as if it would entice you in and then....
Hope it's not a metaphor for the job, heheh. Good Luck!

Show me tulips or infact any of these lovely flower shots anytime. As far as the job goes, I wish you good luck, Ian. Hope it all goes your way.

You can never have too many tulip photos. Especially when they're as lovely as this one.

Amazing colors!

Oh so crisp and beautiful ... I love the purple centre! :)

I like the folds in this flower and how you captured them so well. the slight shadows and then there is just enough blue in this image to throw you off that very cool yellow.

Nice set of images Ian, not sure what 'Sun' and bees are though.

Great pics today - I can't decide which one I like best. Maybe this one. Or the purple one, or the tulips....

Excellent composition and capture of the shiny leaves. I also like the blue you can see in the background.

Great shot, wonderful colour and detail.

You do realise that the birds have a lookout checking for when your battery runs out!
:-)

Make hay while the sun shines !

Great images Ian.
The red tulip I think is just outstanding.
Go on, get that mower out before it rains.

nice colourful pics!

I'm not in a position to criticise given the amount of flower close-ups I've subjected people to recently!! Love the vibrant colours here, and particularly like 'blob'!!
Guest 12-Apr-2005 13:53
Never too many tulips...they're so beautiful and fun to photograph :)
