- 6th April 2005 - Changing Times

This is the catholic cathedral in Liverpool (in torrential rain!). Seemed an appropriate PaD in light of recent events. Some other shots in the Liverpool gallery... Started networking at 07.30 today with Chamber meeting, and finished at Mersey Bio at 8pm.... no time to work!!! Did get to the gym in between (Scary!). Finishing off with fish and chips and a (shared) bottle of red wine :)

My first close-up look at the anglican cathedral.... impressed. It's huge!

for those with an eye for detail.. no i've not adjusted the clock yet!

I was in Liverpool recently for the first time in nearly 30 years, since my childhood. I was struck by the enormous size of the Anglican Cathedral - it matches Guildford for size. I'm a stained glass lover and much prefer modern stained glass to the ancient stuff seen in most churches. This is lovely.

This is great, the composition works well, the sky provides contrast and the building looks great in the rain.

I like the glimpses of red, fitting with all the red we've been seeing lately.
