- 22nd March 2005 - Vortex

Saw one of these at Helen's North West squad training on Sunday. The javelin lads were trowing it around 60 metres (indoors!). It has a wild whistle, so we just had to have one. Ordered it on the net Sunday night via BoysStuff.co.uk (honestly) and it arrived this morning. Had a throwing session with Helen in Ellesmere Port Park before swimming tonight - I suspect she can throw it further thn me, but i think I caught more (no pressure there!)

Go-on buy one - it's fun!

Bird failure - snapped one but had to move the camera and it mis-focused :) Getting closer though!

Interesting, have never seen one of these before, is it just for throwing and catching or is there a sport for this??

How much time do you get after pulling the pin?? :)
They are fun and do fly a long ways.

I've never seen one either.
Now... Could I get the Airedale to bring it back I wonder?
Nice one.

No I desaturated the background - highlighting bit by bit as I can't use the lassoo tool! Well spotted!

It almost appears as if you made the back ground black and white. Maybe its because you added a lighting effect, this works real nice. I love how you displayed this.
