- 20th Jan 2005 - Last flight

Last flight from Edinburgh.... Liked the tropical plant reflection on
a cold and very windy night!

Driving up next week to bring back
accumulated bits and bobs.

Very windy, very bumpy, bit late, but otherwise OK :)

Thought this shot of the airport was nice.... everything you need,
drinks, first aid, defib., and fire extinguishers :) and COLOUR!

Had to leave the business lounge in search of the PAD - the BMI lounge is
excellent at Edinburgh.... view from the outside:

Fish and chips for tea - save (again) for another PAD :)

Nikon Coolpix 8800
1/10s f/3.8 at 35.9mm iso200 full exif

other sizes: small medium original auto

I love that shade of green and the silhouette.

My main memory of Edinburgh is spending 8 days camped in a muddy field at Laureston Castle, it rained all week and we never got off site, there were moats dug around each tent and several had ornamental water gardens! We had to live, sleep, eat and fight pitched battles in MUD, all the time trying to stop armour and weapons from rusting, and answering stupid questions from the public visitors. Fun times :-)

Great use of the shadows in this shot, to frame above the airport sign.

I have a dear friend near Edinburgh ... in Stirling. It's been years since we were able to visit.

Second home to me... was there twice last week, will be there on Saturday and again on the 29th.... Nice work though, Ian... you've made it look exotic!
