Each small room along this building served a different purpose. Entrances to some of the surrounding rooms... Some students peering in to look at Patty Reed's Doll. Patty Reed's Doll is a state treasure. As a young girl traveling w/ the Donner Party, she carried the doll to California.
The doll is tiny..click on the photo to see more detaill. This is how folks staying at the fort would have lived. Woodworking shop... Guest Room - The bed doesn't look too comfy, does it ? See the chamber pot?
A typical loom to make cloth The Gunsmith Shop where weapons are repaired and stored. Blacksmith Shop where wagon wheels were repaired and tools and utensils forged. Lots of scales - some may have been used to weigh gold.
