On Good Friday we should recall how God died for us. He was born at Christmas so that He could die for our sins on Good Friday.
In this photo, taken near Christmas, you can just see the Nativity scene in the lower right. Jesus willingly suffered and died because of our sins so that we can all have a chance to be happy with Him in Heaven.
Can't we do the two things He asks of us? Love God above all others with our whole being and love our neighbors as ourselves. How much better the world would be if we just followed His simple commands.
This was taken at St. John Cantius Roman Catholic Church in Chicago Il.
