It's good to remember the more than 1.3 million babies, disproportionately babies of color, aborted each year. Jesse Jackson has said his mother almost aborted him and that if abortion had been legal he probably would have been aborted. Black women are 5 times more likely to kill their unborn daughter than white women; Hispanic women are 3 times as likely as white women to abort their daughters. How many wonderful people have we lost through this scourge? May God help us find other ways to aid these women than encouraging them to kill their children. As Mother Theresa said "
It is a poverty to decide that a child must die so that you may live as you wish." We are not so poor that we must kill these gifts from God rather in the spirit of love let us find other ways to benefit from God's gifts of life to us!
