When I was a kid I'd call those ant palm trees. Then I'd whack them down with a stick in a path of destruction against those puny ants.

Very nice shot. Tells a good story (sometimes sleeping late is a good thing -- you get too eager, and all you get is snow on your head!) and the depth of field is perfectly used. Nice composition and cropping, too. V.
